I was having a great day.....

So yesterday when I was pulling out of work heading home I got in a wreck. As I was pulling out of work the guy in front of me was sitting in the middle of the drive way thing talking on his cell phone with NO signal on so i waited and he just sat there so I pulled to the right of him at which point he turned right, right into me. So now my car is all crunched in the front and I only have one head light that works. This sucks because his insurance company hasnt gotten back to me and my car needs to be fixed and my insurance company wants to wait to see whay his will do.

Also here are my new years resolutions.

1. Let go of the past and continue moving forward.

2. I would love to lose 15 pound but 10 will work also.

3. Go to cosmetology school.

4. Be a better friend and daughter.

5. Be a better blogger. Ha I have been slacking lately.

Weekend Recap

So I went and saw New Moon at Midnight Thursday night, well I guess technically it was early Friday morning. It was good, I liked it. All the teenie boppers there that had to ooh and aah every time Edward or Jacob came on the screen were great too! Ha ha. I do have to say I am team Edward. Saturday my family and I went and ate at Elfo's for my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. I hope I can find someone that I would like to be married to for 55 years. So far no such luck. I would rather hold out for the right person than marry the wrong one though that's for sure. Saturday night I went and saw The Blind Side with my friend Lacy. It was really really good. It definitely makes you think. Today I am working and then going to eat at Macaroni Grill with a friend of mine and I cannot wait. I live their chicken alfredo and the cheesecake with chocolate ganache sauce. It is absolutely to die for. I always say I am going to eat that every day in heaven. I believe that you can eat whatever you want in heaven and you don't gain a pound!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

New Moon

So after reading Leigh's post about going to see new moon at midnight I immedietly wanted to go. So I called my roommate to see if she would want to stay up till midnight with me and go see it. She turned me down saying that she would be too tired for work the next day:( So I called my old roomate (the one that got married) and asked her if she would want to go. Without hesitation she turned me down as well. So I was super bummmed and was trying to think of someone else who I knew that liked twilight and I could think of absolutely no one!!! The I got the call from the old roomie who I will call B. She asked ok so where is the movie playing. I told her that I knew it was playing at the Cordova movie theather. She decided she would go and she would even go and pick up the tickets for us, but when she got there they were all sold out! So I then called all of the movie theaters until I found one that was not sold out. So Ladies tonight at 12:10 am B and I will be sitting in the movie theather watching New Moon. And I couldnt be more excited!!!!! I will let ya know tomorrow how it is. This will be my first midnight movie and I have always wanted to go see a GOOD movie at midnight when it came out.

It's officially official.

So I havent posted in a while. So here is what has been happening in my world. I have a new job. Well not really I just work at a different location. I do the same thing ( answer the phones) just different hours. I now work from 12-8. Which is ok, its not great but whatever. Also I added a blog app to my iphone so HOPEFULLY I will blog more now that I can do it from my cell. Thing one thing that I dislike about my new job is my eating schedule. I refuse to eat dinner after work so I have to bring my dinner to work, which probably doesnt sound that bad but the microwave is kinda gross so I wont bring things that need to be microwaved. So I have been stuck eating peanut butter sandwhiches for like 2 weeks almost and let me jsut tell ya that gets old super fast. So if anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Also the people who call over here seem to be a little smarter as I dont really have any strange calls to share with you.

10 things about me

So everyone recently is doing the 10 things you might not have known about me, so here are mine in no particular order.



1. I love Volkswagen beetles. In fact I have had 3 of them and not because I wrecked them just because I traded them in and got new ones.



2. I have an obsession with lip gloss. I have to have it on all the time. Its so bad that I always have a tube of chapstick by my bed just in case I wake up in the middle of the night and need some. ha!

3. I absolutely LOVE jewelry. That's part of the reason I sell Premier Jewelry. I have tons of it and I rarely leave the house without some sort of jewelry on.

4. I love Quesadillas. If you know me well then you know I pretty much always order them wherever I go.

5. I have never eaten an orange or eggs. I don't like the way eggs smell. And I don't like how the orange slices look stringy. I am a really weird food freak! I am so super picky. I have never had coffee either now that I think about it.

6. I have a love/hate relationship with my job and the guys that work there. They love to drive me crazy!!!!!!

7. I iron ALL of my clothes. Even my jeans.

8. I have naturally curly hair and I usually straighten it. Not this month I have been to lazy ALL month to straighten it.

9. I am late for work every morning. I am supposed to be there at 7 but I don't actually get there till sometimes as late as 7:20. Good thing I am the first one there so most days no one actually notices.

10. I would rather be around a bunch of people than be by myself any day. I think that stems from being an only child. Well I have a half brother and half sister but they have always lived in Florida.

Singleness

So I am going to rant for a minute. Do any of you other single girls feel like you are being punished for something and thats why your single. I know I am not being punished for anything. But somedays it feels that way. ALL of my friends are married and having babies. I have three single friends. And on top of that every roommate I have gets a boyfriend within 2 months of living with me! I mean really is this my purpose in life to help my roommates meet people???

I was really excited because I had met a boy and we went out 4 times within the first week we met and then I haven't heard from him since. Well I take that back I texted him to see if I had done something to offend him since I hadn't heard from him in a few days and he assured me I had not he had just been busy. Well that was 2 weeks ago! So really your just that busy. Somehow I don't believe that. I know he doesn't owe me anything after a week but it would have been nice for him to say hey just wasn't feeling it or something so I don't sit around for 2 weeks wondering what I did wrong but whatever. Men suck!!!

So now I sit here single as usual it feels like. I wonder if it will ever be my turn to meet a great guy and be able to plan our lives together or am I just destined to be the roommate match maker?? Sorry if I sound like Negative Nancy in this post I'm usually not I'm just frustrated today.

Gossip Central

I officially work at Gossip Central. I never thought it could be worse than in high school but it soooo is. Adults are so much worse than highschoolers. How is that? All I know is I am absolutely sick of it. It has caused so many fights between co-workers and caused people not to talk. I think it is ridiculous. I don't know if its the business I work in or what. But I need a vacation! So I am taking tomorrow off. ( I had already had planned this day off.) Is it like this everywhere or just where I work??

Attention callers

Dear rude customers who call a place of business,

Please do not yell at the receptionist for when you do it makes us not want to help you. I am sorry that your car has a flat tire and is on the side of the road. I did not slash your tires last night to cause this terrible thing to happen to you, therefore yelling at me is not going to help your situation. I understand your angry and I'm sorry about your situation but if you will calmly explain your situation I will be glad to direct your call to the appropriate party, but screaming in my ear does NOT help at all. It just frustrates me as well. Also, if someone doesnt not answer after I transfer you to this person, please please feel free to leave a message. I cannot see where Suzy went to if she is not sitting at her desk nor do I know if Suzy is sitting at her desk. I can only see what is in front of me. I also cannot get up and go find that person to let them know that you are on the phone (trust me many times I would LOVE to do this)because then all of the other calls would go unanswered. I do not know if the parts dept is taking a nap and not answering calls I cannot see through walls. You also don't need to tell me that you would like to talk to a LIVE person. I will assure you we have no dead people working here so live people is all you get. If they are away from their desk, again leave a message and they will call you back. You do not have to call every 5 min. to check to see if they are back yet. Also when you are calling please try to make it breif for I have a multi line phone which means I have more than one line ringing at a time . So when you call I dont care that your car is blue and you bought it back in 1995 and it had 4 doors and 4 tires just tell me that you need service. And lastly I cannot see the dealership down the street to see if their telephone number is on the sign. I do know however that if you dial 411 that there is an operator who will be glad to look that information up for you.

Adventures at Taco Bell

So I haven't written in a while with the cash for clunkers going on I have been pretty busy at work. But now that it's over hopefully I wont be as busy!

Anyway this weekend turned out to be kind of busy. I worked late Friday night and then went out for my roommates birthday. Saturday I had to work in the afternoon and then met up with a good friend of mine for dinner to talk about the crazy men in our lives. Then we went cosmic bowling which was really fun. On my way home from cosmic bowling I decided I was a little hungry and I would stop for some Taco Bell. As I was at the window paying someone knocks on my passenger side window. I screamed cause it scared me half to death. This guy who knocked on my window proceeds to tell me that he is a good guy and has been out drinking and now needs a ride home. Ummmm hello sketch! Are you kidding me? I proceeded to tell him that it was out of my way for me to give him a ride home, so i would NOT be giving him a ride. ( I didn't want to just be totally rude for fear that he might do something totally crazy.) I mean really what is wrong with people?? And where were the people he had been with or his car? I mean call a cab or a friend to come get you!! Sunday I was lazy and just hung around the house doing laundry and some light cleaning.

Ole Miss Bound

Friday after work, I left and went to Oxford for the weekend to visit my sister before she starts school. She just recently moved into a really nice house(too nice for college kids if you ask me). Friday night we just hung out and then started watching Copycat but we fell asleep. I hate watching scary movies especially at night. I think that's why I subconsciously might have fallen asleep.

Saturday we got up and cooked biscuits and watched tv all morning. Then we got ready and went to the square and ate lunch at Old Venice. (One of my favorite restaurants). After that we came back to the house and hung out for a little bit before we went to see The Time Traveler's Wife. It was pretty good. I hadn't heard good things about it so I was a little skeptical. Sunday I went home and did laundry and took a nap. Then I got up and went running cause I was feeling a little lazy. When I got back I watched the last half of big brother. I heard that Sheema or however you spell it gets kicked off cause she threw her mic in the pool and its a $5,000 piece of equipment. (Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone.)

Also I have a prayer request. One of my close friends Beth, lost her mom yesterday. This was kind of unexpected in a way and she is very upset. Just please pray that she can find peace in the situation.

Late Arrival

You know that feeling when you wake up late and you know your are late before you even look at a clock? I experienced that yesterday. I woke up at 7:05. I am supposed to be at work at 7:oo. Not good. Whats that? You thought I had a roommate who wold have woken me up to let me know I was late? Yes, I would have thought that too. Umm no she told me that she thought it was my late day. Now let me just say I have lived with her since May. My late days that I have to work are every other FRIDAY, and have been that way for over a year know. So why on a random Wednesday would I have a late day??? Don't get me wrong I love my roommate to death, but let me just say this DUH!!!!!! So I got to work at 8:30.

I had to miss my running club this week cause I volunteered to work late. Not sure which is better money or being skinny? haha. But I did run last night on the treadmill for 22 min. No, I didn't run the whole 22 min just probably 10 or 11 of them. Then I went for a loooong walk. I'm not sure how far I walked I'm gonna guess maybe 2 miles, but it was very relaxing. Tonight is the last night for bowling. We find out how much prize money we get. Since we are in 6th place we probably will only get like $20 dollars. I guess that's better than nothing!

It's finally FRIDAY!

I am so glad its Friday cause I am exhausted.

Last night was the placement for bowling. We are in 6th place but are hoping we moved up to 5th place, but we wont find out until next week at the awards ceremony. I didn't bowl too bad. My first game was the best. I got a 141, 123, and the a 99. I think by the last game I was just tired.

I also had my training for the 5k on Monday. It was incredibly hot. I am sooo glad I went though because I ran into a friend of mine from high school. She is single too. When your single its nice to have other single girlfriends. While I love my married friends too, it's nice to know someone can relate to what you are going through. One of my roommate's friends from New York is staying with us, and let me just tell you this girl is great. We clicked right away and the three of us had a blast last night just sitting around and talking. She has that New York accent and I just love it. It makes me want to talk like her. So tonight we are all going out to see what we can get into around town. ha! Tomorrow I have a surprise party to go to. Now I am wondering, (and this may be a dumb question) do you bring a gift to a surprise party? I was thinking about just bringing a card with a gift card in it. Do you think that is appropriate? Or would just a card do? I have only been to one other surprise party and I was the one throwing it so I had a gift there. Anyways, I'm just glad its finally FRIDAY!

Call of the Week

As you may or may not know I work at a car dealership. So this morning I got the call of the week! It might even make call of the year!!


So it went a little something like this:

Me: Thank you for calling xyz dealership.

Not so bright caller: Ummm yeah is this the dealership located down the street from my house?

My thoughts were are you kidding me?? Umm yeah thats us, and I think I passed you this morning on my way to work. Were you the one in your bath robe out in the yard? Are you seriously kidding me?? Do these people think I have a GPS and can just pull up where they live and how far they are from us?? Ummm no I cant do that nor do I wish I could. Hopefully my whole day wont be like this.

I think when you come back from vacation though you should only have to work half days for the week you come back that way you don't wear yourself out to quickly. ha. The Beach

Tomorrow I will be here (Jacksonville, Florida)!!! And tomorrow is also my brother's 21st birthday! So I am sure we will be celebrating.

And Tuesday I will be here (Daytona Beach)!!!!! I will be gone for a whole week and I am so excited. I am trying to get the hang of this picture thing. So I will take pictures and TRY to post them when I get back. Try is the key word. Ha.

Another one bites the dust....

So I had a lunch date today. I guess that's what you would call it. It was with a guy from my bowling league I am on. No its not the guy I blogged about originally. The original guy refuses to even make eye contact with me, which makes me feel like I am back at a middle school dance but whatever. So back to this "lunch date" if you will. He texted almost the entire time. He stopped texting when I was done eating. How freaking polite. He also took a phone call. Now I wouldn't have minded all this maybe if he said "hey i have this really important job and I cannot miss a single text or phone call that come through". Then maybe I would understand. But come on, call me old fashioned but it was one hour. The lunch hour at that, and I mean really what is that important that you had to answer ever single one??? Or apparently I wasn't that important, which let me tell you is what it makes it seem like when you have to answer every text message, email, and phone call that comes through.

My new fascination

I got my hair cut like this about a week ago. I have loved it up until this point. Today it is raining and humid. Let me just tell you this haircut + rain + humidity = not a cute look!! So me and some of the other girls at work decided to bring an extra straightener and leave it at work for days like today. So hopefully I wont have this problem again.

So like I said I have a new fascination. I LOVE the mystic tan (spray tan). I have been twice in the last 10 days. I love it cause it is instant color. Well not quite instant but after a few hours it shows up. It is so much faster than going to the tanning bed and laying there for 10 or 15 min. I have read a lot of other blogs where people didn't like it or their color didn't turn out right but that hasn't happened to me. Since it is so much safer too I thought about doing that in the winter month everyone in awhile just to keep some color.

Training for a 5k

Yesterday was the fist day of my women's running club. There were tons of women there, or at least a lot more than I expected. It went well though. We ran for 1 min and then walked for 2 min for a total of 20 min. This is supposed to build our leg muscles and endurance. We are supposed to try and do it four other times a week, so tonight when I get off work (if its not raining) I plan on going running. I am going to try to run 3 min walk 3 min for a total of 30 min and see how I do. I would really like to turn running into something I make a habit of all the time and I am hoping that training like this for the 5k will be the trick. I have tried running before and have done well for a few weeks but then skipped a day which led to skipping weeks at a time. Ha go figure! So I will try to blog about my lovely running experience and maybe that will keep me from getting burnt out. Does anyone have any tips what to do to help so I don't get burnt out and I can turn this into a daily habit??

I usually go to lunch with one or some of the girls I work with. We have been trying to be healthy and bring our lunch ( I bring a lean cuisine pizza). Well today one of the girls suggested Pei Wei for lunch. (Its an Asian Diner for those of you who have never heard of it, I had never heard of it until today.) But we went an hour earlier than I normally go to lunch, so now my afternoon is now all thrown of because I feel like it should be later than it should. But the food was pretty good at Pei Wei. I am EXTREMELY picky about food. For example I don't like eggs, oranges, or lettuce to name a few things I will not eat. I am trying to get better about my pickyness, so today I tried crab won tons. I didn't like crab the last time I tried it but these were pretty good. You couldn't really even taste the crab, so that was good!

Fight time

I skipped bowling last night to get my haircut. It's a little shorter than I would have liked but its just hair it will grow back. Last night after my haircut I went to rendezvous to have dinner with some people from work. I absolutely LOVE the bbq nachos there. I am sure there is at least 10,000 calories in them but I can't help it I eat them all every time I go there. Then after that we walked down Beale street. Trent Tomilson was playing last night at Kix on Beale so there were a ton of young kids down there. We ended up at coyote ugly which was fairly crowded. I usually don't like coyote ugly because there is not much going on there but last night it was pretty fun.



Tonight I am going to have dinner with a friend of mine that I used to work with. This is my first weekend that I have had the WHOLE weekend off in over a month so I am very excited. So after dinner I want to go home sit on the couch and just relax. Saturday I am going to lay out at my friends pool. The weather is supposed to be nice (I think). Saturday night I am going with a bunch of people I work with down to the casino to watch the fights. We have ring side seats in the front row. I think that is awesome. I love going to the fights. We get tickets through work so I have been to the fights before but never sat in the front row. Sunday I planning on relaxing the whole day too and maybe hitting up the pool again.

Sooo its been awhile....

So its been awhile.





I joined a running program and at the end of it I SHOULD be able to run a 5k. Notice I said should. Watch me be the one person that cant do it. ha. I am also still doing my bowling league. I have had a blast with that. I have made some good friends and we now go out to mulligans and sing karaoke after we bowl. (Well they do, I don't!) Tonight I am going to have dinner with one of my good friends who is expecting her second son. I'm excited cause it has been a while since we have been able to catch up.





So I don't feel like I'm that super busy but for some unknown reason I am ALWAYS behind on laundry. Its definitely not cause when I get home from work I would rather do anything but laundry. But currently I am at least two weeks behind so finding stuff to wear is pretty interesting to say the least. I am super excited because I am off this weekend. This will be the first full weekend I have had off in over a month. I cant decide if I wanna be super lazy all weekend or if I actually wanna try to be productive. Also I am leaving a week from Saturday to go to the BEACH!! I am soooo excited. This vacation is long over due. My roommate and I will be driving to Jacksonville to visit my family for a few day and then we are going to Daytona where we have a condo on the beach. I can't wait!!
So I think I am pretty much caught up now.

Tuesday Randoms

Here are a few randoms for tuesday:

1. I badly need a vacation!!!! I am hopefully going to the beach at the end of July, and I am trying to plan a cruise for October. Hopefully, BOTH of these trips workout.

2. I got a new bathing suit yesterday and I am dying to wear it. I will get to on Friday cause I am taking the day off and am going to work vacation bible school at church and then going to layout the rest of the day!!!!!!

3. I really want to buy the movie He's just not that into you. I saw the movie when it was in theaters but I can seriously relate the the main character in the movie. Its on sale at Target this week for $10 along with some cute beach towels that I want. So I think I will be making a trip to target.

Advice

I joined this bowling league with my mom and some of her friends from work. I know it sounds like I am such an old fart. I assumed I would be one of the youngest people there. Boy was I wrong! There were a lot of people my age there. Our team name- we decided we would call ourselves the biggest losers, since we are just there to have fun and bowl. But the league that we are bowling in is called the Thursday Partyers. And man they were not lying. One girl a couple lanes down was taking jello shots. I mean really?? I understand we are all there to have fun but Jello shots at a bowling alley? Are you kidding me? There were tons of people taking shots and they were getting pitchers and pitchers of beer. Now me personally, I dont prefer to mix bowling and alcohol for fear that I might end up throwing myself halfway down the lane along with my bowling ball. But it was pretty funny to watch. So I met this guy last night at the bowling league ( who didnt appear to be drunk) and we started talking(flirting) whatever and he said he didnt know what he was going to do this weekend, he didnt really have any plans. So I have 4 tickets to the redbirds game and 2 friends going with me so I had an extra ticket and offered it to him if he wanted to go. Now I just met him last night so I understand it was a little sudden. But he just kind of sat there and acted like he was thinking about it and then he said that he wished I would have asked him a week ago. (Umm ok what you just said you really didnt have any plans this weekend????) So i just said thats ok I was ok I wasnt trying to put you on the spot just offering the ticket and something to do. And he said twice its really not you I promise. So I guess I'm confused you said you didnt have plans and I offered you something to do but now you cant and its not me?? What do ya'll think? And Im ok if it is me cause I understand the fact that if your not feeling it then dont waste my time. But what gives? I need some advice cause the bowling league lasts till August so I will see him once a week for the next 3 months. Just great.

Not as planned

So moving day didnt quite go as planned since it rained ALL weekend long. So we will have to reschedule it. Maybe one day this week but I cant do it this weekend cause I have to work all weekend. So if it doesnt get done before this weekend then it will be two weeks before I get to move. Go figure!

I was also crazy and went to Musicfest yesterday. It rained the entire time I was there but it was pretty fun. I bought some rain boots probably about 3 years ago that I finally got to put to use. So other than being rained on it wasn't half bad.

I have to go work late at our other store cause someone called in. I would complain but I haven't had overtime in awhile so it kinda works out. Then I have a volleyball game on Thursday. We have no practice this week. So I hope we can win this one even though we dont get to practice! Probably not but a girl can dream can't she???

Its been awhile

Its been awhile since my last post. Tomorrow is moving day. I am moving in with one of my friends that just recently bought a house. I am really excited and I think we will have a lot of fun. I have had two volleyball games since my last post and we have lost both of them. It's still fun though. I also an now selling Premier Jewelry. Nothing New

So I have kind of fallen of the running band wagon and I am down to running once a week. I guess that is better than not at all though. But I am going to try to do better next week. I am playing volleyball for my church and our first practice is Wednesday and our first game is Thursday, so I hope we do well!

I have found a new place to live. For those of you who don't know my roommate that I was living with got married so I moved back home in October to save a little money. Which was ok I guess ( it was my moms idea and at the time saving a little money sounded like a good idea to me too) but I just feel a little stressed living there. It's just not MY own space and I feel like I'm intruding a little bit. So one of my friends bought a house and I am going to move in with her May 2nd and I cant wait! I'm having to work today and I have had to work a lot more this work so I haven't had a chance to go shopping for an easter dress. So thats what I will be doing when I get off work.

Grouchy Monday

I am grouchy today. Nothing in particular happened to make me this way. Its kind of a combination of things.

• The salesman I work with are in a playful mood and want to mess with me. I am not in that playful mood. So I'm grouchy!
• I am tired of dealing with jerky guys and the stress they bring me even though I initiated the text messaging. So I'm grouchy!
• I'm tired of my job in general today. So I'm grouchy!
• I don't like the fact that the weekend went by way to fast and the week will probably drag on and on. So I'm grouchy!

Tonight I'm am going to watch the National Championship with some friends and if North Carolina doesn't win, my bracket completely loses. And then I will be grouchy! Hopefully tomorrow will be much better. Oh but I did find a few cute shirts for spring, but I still need to get a dress that I can wear to church on Easter.

My busy weekend

I have been craving chicken fried rice for like two weeks now. So me and a friend of mine finally went and got chinese food last night and it was delicious. I even had leftovers and remembered to bring the box home so now I can eat it again for lunch!

Tomorrow I have a busy day. I volunteered to help at the Easter Egg hunt at my church this weekend so I have to be at church at 9:15. So much for sleeping in this weekend. Then after that is over I have been dying to do some spring shopping, so I think I will head to the mall and see what they have. Then Saturday night I have to babysit. Then this Sunday it is my weekend to work the nursery so I have to be at church again on Sunday at 9:15 so again no sleeping in. So nursery then church and then I have to go into work. Yuck. I love busy weekends but I hate the fact that the busy weekends seem to go by the fastest. Anyone know of any stores with cute spring clothes that I could hit up Saturday???

But seriously did they really have to have breaking news to chase the man from his house to the airport??? I mean give me a break. He did wonderful things for the University of Memphis but all good things must come to an end right?

Memphis Fans!

Ok so I am a HUGE March Madness fan. I started a pool at my work and am loving keeping up with it! But i need to vent for a minute. What was Memphis thinking?!?!? We should have won that game by at least 20 points. I was freaking out! Everyone kept telling me Memphis is a second half team but even in the second have they were not doing that great. Thank goodness they pulled it off in the end or it would have messed up my whole bracket. And yes I have Memphis winning it all. But sheesh! They definitely need to get it together before the next game if we wanna make it to the final four. But I'm sure we will do just fine, so GO MEMPHIS!!!!!

Luck of the Irish

So yesterday I had some luck of the Irish. Everyday while I drive home from work I listen to the 4 play at 4 on Q107.5. Yesterday I was the right caller and I won two free movie tickets and 100 min of tanning. I desperately need the tanning since I look as though I haven't seen the sunlight all winter. That was my excitement for the day. Other than that I just went home and worked out. I tend to only workout in the spring and summer. This year I am trying to lose about 10 pounds. I'll keep ya updated on how that goes. As of right now its not going so well considering I have gone out to lunch everyday this week!

Come to work!

Ok so like I said before I am a receptionist. I am just the day time receptionist, there is also a night time receptionist that comes in. She has called in sick for the second time this week. Ok your sick I can understand that, but she always calls in. I mean really?!?!?! She called in sick twice last week and the week before that she had to go to a funeral. I'm not trying to be rude but if you really are sick once or twice every two weeks please check yourself into the hospital. I dont mind working for you while you are there, but PLEASE get well and come back to work. I mean this is just ridiculous. I guess she doesnt need the money. I know I hate it when my check is short cause I have everything calculated to a T. I also am not one of those people who call in ever unless I am REALLY sick. I have called in 4 times in 4 years. Now not to toot my own horn but I think that is pretty good. So now I have to work a 13 hour day to make up for those who dont come to work. Sorry I just really needed to vent!!!!! My Story

So I new to the blogging world. Well not really I read people's blogs but I have never had one so I thought I would give it a try. So sorry if my page is a little bland right now. It will take me awhile of trial and error to figure out how to post pictures and decorate it a little.

Here is a little about me. My name is Megan. I'm 24 about to be 25 in two months. My birthday is a HUGE deal to me and I get really excited about it. I am a receptionist. I should say that I love my job but after 4 years I'm a little burnt out. Ok so I'm a lot burnt out. But hey I just try to make the best of it. I go to Hope Presbyterian Church, which I love. I volunteer in the nursery every other week. I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL but I moved here when I was 8. That is all I can really think of right now but I'm sure I will elaborate more in future blogs.
