Weekend Review

Saturday was a pretty eventful day. In the morning I went to go look at another cosmetology school. I think I finally found the one that I want to go to!!! Then after that I went to go pick up my car. It finally got fixed and it looks great! Yay. Then me and the roommate went for a walk at Shelby Farms. I didn't realize how long it had been since I had done a lot of exercising, sad I know! And I must say today I am a little sore. The in the afternoon I got to go and meet this little girl.


One of my good friends Mallory had her first baby on Friday. Her name is Paisley Taylor and she is so precious. She was 6 pound 11 ounces. She is very tiny but she is sweet as can be. Makes me want a baby but I think I'll work on the whole husband thing first ha ha!


Then Saturday night me and my mom went to Dillard's to look around before we went and saw this movie!

It was actually really cute and I liked it. It was great spending time just me and my mom. It was definitely long over due.

Today I woke up early and went to church cause I had to work today. Tonight I will go home and finish up my laundry and watch the Kardashians!!

Slippers at the Fox

So last night I was hanging out with this guy. We have been hanging out for awhile now and we decided we would go get something to eat. So he said he would drive. It was 11 o'clock at night so I said I would just wear my slippers since we were probably just going to a drive through somewhere. We couldn't decide where to go so we just drove around and we passed Fox and the Hound. He suggested that we go there and I reminded him that I had on my slippers! He said we don't have to go there if you don't want to. I thought it over for a min and thought what the heck! So last night I went to Fox and the Hound in my slippers!!! And believe it or not I don't think anyone really noticed. Or if they did the surely didn't say anything to me. The slippers kinda looked like those in the picture but mine are black and pink swirl and you can definitely tell they are slippers haha.

Tuesday and Rambling

Today I went and had lunch at Huey's with my friend Michelle. Michelle and I went to high school together. We also lived in the dorms in college together (we were neighbors, not roommates we thought roommates might be a little much). We also took mostly all the same classes in college so that way we would at least know one person in class with us. We were dorks I know! Now we lead totally different lives, but it is still fun to catch up every once in awhile. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful boys and she still looks amazing (after two kids I will probably look anything but amazing haha).

Random thought I wonder if vending machines have ever thought of a way to accept debit cards. I would really like a candy bar (not that I need one) but I have no dollar!!!

I also have an update on my sister. The oncologist said that because the tumors are so small right now that chemo would only shrink them and they would probably grow right back. So they are going to let her go back to school and she will go back home in March during her Spring Break to get scanned again and see what has or hasn't progressed. This seems kinda scary to me but I'm not a doctor so I guess it is whats best.

A bad start to 2010

My 2010 is not starting out to good. My sister had a liver transplant 4 years ago. Her liver was engulfed in tumors. She was 16 when she had the transplant. She goes back to Mayo Clinic every year to be scanned to make sure everything is ok.She goes to Mayo Clinic because she lives in Jacksonville with my dad, she is my half sister. Last Thursday was her annual scan and they found that she had 7 tumors on her liver. She had to have an emergency biopsy and we found out that it is back. And by it I mean what she has is a form of cancer. I don't really understand all of the details so I don't really have all of the answers. I do know that this is not good. She is going to have to start chemotherapy and has her first oncologist appt tomorrow at 4. She is 19 years old and is a sophomore at Ole Miss. She probably wont be able to go back to school this semester and this is crushing to her. She is going to hopefully take online classes this semester and will probably be able to return in the fall. If you could please put her in your thoughts and prayer I would great appreciate it. This is her first time having chemo so we are all a little scared and are praying this works. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Let it Snow!!!!

It is sooooo cold here. And its supposed to snow starting tomorrow night. I have to admit I will be realllllllllllly dissapointed if it doesnt!!!
